Privacy policy.

ARKIA.APP ("we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses our service. This policy explains how we handle your personal data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD).

We collect the following categories of data, strictly needed to operate the service:

• Identity & account — name, first name, email (via Clerk).
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, operating system.
• Usage — prompts you type and images you generate, to render your history inside the app.
• Payment — transaction metadata (processed securely by our payment providers).

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Deliver the AI image and video generation tools.
• Manage your credits and subscription.
• Provide technical support.
• Send you onboarding emails and, only if you opt in, product news and offers.

We send three kinds of email:

• Service emails — about your account, billing and team (alerts, invitations, receipts). They are always sent while you have an account.
• Onboarding emails — a few emails in your first days to help you get started, chosen from what you have done in the app (for example, whether you have generated an image yet). They are announced when you sign up and you can turn them off at any time.
• News & offers — occasional product news and offers, sent only if you opt in (an unchecked box when you sign up, or the switch in your email preferences). We keep the date of your consent.

Onboarding and marketing emails are sent through Brevo, our email provider. Brevo receives your email address, first name, sign-up date, plan, and the number and date of your generations. These emails contain a tracking pixel that tells us whether an email was opened.

You can object to onboarding and marketing emails at any time: use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of them, or write to us.

We never sell your data. It is shared only with the essential subprocessors needed to run the service:

• Clerk — authentication.
• Supabase — database and image storage.
• Polar.sh / Stripe — payment processing.
• Google Cloud / Gemini — AI image models; Google Analytics, with your consent.
• OpenAI — AI image models (GPT Image).
• Anthropic — prompt enhancement (Enhance prompt).
• fal.ai — video generation and background removal.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Render — application server hosting.
• PostHog — product analytics and session replays, with your consent.
• Sentry — error monitoring.
• Hostinger — transactional email delivery.
• Brevo — onboarding and marketing emails.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data, and to object to marketing emails at any time. You can exercise these rights at any time by emailing help@arkia.app or from your account settings.

We only drop analytics cookies (Google Analytics, PostHog) once you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. With your consent, PostHog also records session replays of how the interface is used: form fields are masked and your images and renders are never captured. Essential cookies (authentication, session, security) are always active because Arkia cannot run without them. You can review or change your choice at any time:
