About this model
Relights a daytime interior photo or render as the same room in the evening. Walls, furniture, objects, materials and camera stay exactly as they are; only the light changes. Sun patches on the floor, bright daylight bounce and the daylit view through the windows are removed, then the room is lit again by its own fixtures. Three lighting scenarios are available. Blue hour keeps a deep blue dusk sky in the windows, with every existing lamp switched on in warm pools of light on tables and floor: the classic balance of a cool exterior and a warm interior. Night, lamps only goes darker: black-blue night outside, the room lit only by its lamps, with strong falloff, soft shadows in the corners and windows reflecting the lit room. Candlelit dinner dims the main lamps and adds a few candles on the table or shelves for an intimate glow; it is the only scenario that adds objects. If the room has no visible lamp, light comes only from existing fixture positions such as ceiling lights or recessed spots: the template never invents floor lamps in the middle of the room. Useful for interior designers and architects who need an evening version of a day render, for hospitality and residential projects sold on atmosphere, and for listings where a room reads warmer at night. One day image becomes a day and evening pair, with no second lighting setup in your 3D software.
When to use it
An interior designer has a set of approved daylight renders for a boutique hotel suite, and the operator now wants evening images for the booking site. Relighting the 3D scene would mean a new lighting setup and another night of rendering. The designer runs the bedroom and lounge renders through Evening Ambience on Blue hour, the dining corner on Candlelit dinner, and delivers a day and evening pair for each room the same afternoon, with furniture and finishes identical to the approved images.
No. Only the existing lamps and fixture positions are switched on. The one exception is Candlelit dinner, which adds a few candles on the table or shelves. Furniture, objects and materials are not changed.
It is built for interiors. For a building exterior at dusk or night, use Lighting Change on an architectural render, or Virtual Twilight on a real-estate exterior photo.
