Set up arkia in Codex.

Use arkia from the Codex CLI. The same setup works in the Codex IDE extension and app.

Copy the command

codex mcp add arkia --url https://mcp.arkia.app/mcp

You sign in with your arkia account in your browser. Never paste a password or key into the chat.

Set it up

  1. Copy the command above, paste it in your terminal and run it.
  2. Run codex mcp login arkia and sign in with your arkia account in the browser.
  3. Start Codex and ask “Show my arkia credits”Free, nothing is charged.

What works in Codex

Everything works by asking. Images come back as links to open.

Your files

Ask to add an image: arkia gives you a page to drop it in.

IDE and app

The same setup works in the Codex IDE extension and the Codex app.

If it doesn’t work

  • arkia isn’t listed. Run codex mcp list. If arkia is missing, run the add command again.
  • arkia asks you to sign in again. Run codex mcp login arkia.
