About this model

Shows your project as an active building site at the stage you choose, starting from a 3D view or a render of the finished building. The camera is locked and the final geometry is the target: silhouette, floor levels, footprint and opening grid stay where they are in the frame, so the site image lines up with the finished view. Three stages are available. Structure shows the raw reinforced-concrete frame: slabs, columns and cores in fresh concrete with formwork marks, no facade yet, the top floor still in formwork with rebar starters, a tower crane entering from the edge of the frame. Envelope closes the building halfway: insulation boards and membranes on part of the facade, window frames installed, full-height scaffolding with netting on one or two faces. Finishing shows a nearly complete building, protective film on some windows, scaffolding coming down, a mobile work platform and landscaping not yet planted. Each stage gets a credible site around it: a plain hoarding along the street, site containers, a skip, material stacks, a mixer or delivery truck, a few workers in hi-vis vests, gravel and mud on the ground. The light is neutral daylight in the sun direction of your source, in a documentary photographic register, with no logos and no readable signs. A building under construction render is rare in visualization, yet useful: explaining phasing to a client, telling the progress story on a project page, site hoarding graphics, or a developer newsletter showing what comes next.

When to use it

A developer is about to start works on a 40-unit residential building and wants to prepare neighbours and buyers for the next eighteen months. The architect takes the street-level render of the finished project and runs it three times through Under Construction: Structure, Envelope, Finishing. The three images, plus the final render, go on the site hoarding and the sales page as a simple timeline from first concrete to handover.
